  • 150g green beans, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 100g small pasta shells
  • 400g can kidney beans, drained
  • 750ml vegetable stock

How To Make Minestrone Soup In A Soup Maker:

  1. Sauté the bacon, onion, and garlic: If your soup maker has a sauté function, heat the oil, add the bacon lardons, and cook for about 8 minutes until crispy. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes. If not, use a pan for this step and transfer it to the soup maker.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients: Add the carrots, green beans, tomato puree, canned tomatoes, pasta, kidney beans, and vegetable stock to the soup maker. Be careful not to exceed the MAX line.
  3. Cook: Set the soup maker to the ‘Chunky’ setting and let it run its cycle.
  4. Serve: Once the soup is done, taste and season as needed. Serve hot with crusty bread.
